SMS Notification Privacy Policy

Kelco Industries, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS notification program that sends operational text messages to freight and delivery drivers arriving at our warehouse. This policy explains how we handle mobile phone numbers and message data for that program.

Information we collect

When a driver checks in at our facility, we collect the driver’s mobile phone number — either entered by the driver on a self-service check-in kiosk at our facility, or provided verbally to our receiving staff, who enter it into our receiving system on the driver’s behalf. We use it solely to send operational text messages about that delivery.

How we use it

We use mobile numbers only to send delivery-related notifications, such as check-in confirmation and staging instructions, dock door assignment, paperwork release, and load refusal. We do not use them for marketing.

No sharing of mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent/opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to operate this notification program and is disclosed only to the service providers who help us deliver the messages (such as our SMS carrier), for that purpose alone.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and is limited to operational updates related to a delivery — typically a few messages per delivery.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
